Five programs. All levels. Ages 3 to adult. Whether your child is stepping on the mat for the first time or you are ready to get in the best shape of your life - Atom has your program.
Ninja 1 is where tiny humans discover that they are capable of more than they think. Through games, movement, and structured play, our youngest students build coordination, focus, and the kind of quiet confidence that follows them into every classroom and playground for years to come.
No experience needed. No attention span required. Just a kid who is ready to have fun.
What a Class Looks Like
0-5 min - Warm-up games and stretching
5-15 min - Skill of the day (roll, fall, stance)
15-25 min - Partner drills and mat games
25-30 min - Technique practice with instructor
30-35 min - Cool-down and lesson of the day
Rolling, falling, balancing, moving with purpose - Ninja 1 builds the physical foundations that make every sport and activity easier for life.
Following instructions, waiting your turn, trying again after a mistake. These are the skills that shape great students, great teammates, and great humans.
Every new move mastered, every class completed, every belt earned - it all adds up to a child who believes in themselves. That belief is permanent.
Not at all. Our Ninja 1 curriculum is built specifically for 3-5 year olds - short classes, playful structure, and instructors who know how to work with little ones. Many of our best students started at 3.
This is the most common thing we hear - and one of the biggest transformations parents witness. Our instructors are trained for exactly this. Most shy kids are running through the door on their own within 2-3 weeks.
Not for the trial week. We provide a loaner gi so your child can try the class with nothing to buy. After joining, a kids gi runs about $40-$60 and lasts for years.
Around age 6, or when the instructor feels the child is ready for a more structured curriculum. It is a milestone - we make it a celebration.

Ninja 2 is where the real work begins. Kids this age can handle structure, push through difficulty, and feel genuine pride in what they build. Our Ninja 2 program gives them all three - through progressive Jiu-Jitsu technique, real self-defense skills, and a culture of respect that parents notice within weeks.
Competition is available. It is never required. We focus on personal growth first, always.
What Parents See Change
01 - Respect at home
The dojo culture carries into the kitchen, the car, and the classroom. Most parents notice a shift within the first few weeks.
02 - Focus at school
Sitting still, listening, trying again after failure - the mat trains these skills directly and they transfer immediately to academics.
03 - Grit under pressure
Rolling teaches kids to keep going when it is hard and uncomfortable. That lesson does not stay in the gym.
04 - Friendships that last
The bonds kids form on the mat are some of the strongest they will ever make. They suffer together, grow together, and show up for each other.
Takedowns, positional control, escapes - Ninja 2 students learn actual technique in a safe, progressive environment. These skills stay with them for the rest of their lives.
We teach kids to set boundaries, use their voice, and protect themselves without aggression. Parents consistently call this the most valuable thing their child has learned anywhere.
For kids who want to test themselves, we prepare them mentally and physically for tournaments. For those who do not - there is zero pressure. Personal growth is always the goal.
Not at all. We welcome new Ninja 2 students all the time. Every experienced student was once exactly where your child is. The culture at Atom is built on encouragement - not intimidation.
Yes. We have kids competing at local and regional levels. Speak with the instructor about competition prep. We prepare them fully before they step on the mat at any tournament.
Jiu-Jitsu is one of the safest martial arts because it is built around control and leverage, not force. Sparring is introduced slowly and only when the instructor decides your child is fully ready.
Ninja 1 is play-based and foundational for ages 3-5. Ninja 2 is structured and technique-focused for ages 6-11. When a child is ready to move up, we make it a moment worth remembering.

Most adults who train at Atom had never stepped on a mat before their first class. They came in nervous, out of shape, or convinced they were too old to start. Six months later they are in the best shape of their lives, sleeping better, thinking clearer, and wondering why they waited so long.
The mat does not care about your age, your size, or your fitness level. It only asks that you show up.
Who This Is For:
I want to get fit and actually enjoy it - Adults is right for you
I want real self-defense skills - Adults is right for you
I have never trained anything before - Adults is right for you
I am a working professional with a busy schedule - Adults is right for you
I want to compete someday - Adults is right for you
I just need something that is mine - Adults is right for you
One hour of Jiu-Jitsu burns more calories and builds more functional strength than almost anything else you can do. And it never feels like exercise.
The mat teaches you to stay calm under pressure, think clearly when it is hard, and keep going when you want to quit. That skill shows up in your work, your relationships, and your life.
You will train alongside people from every walk of life. You will push each other. You will show up for each other. Some of the closest friendships in Miami started on this mat.
MMA at Atom is not sport fighting for future cage athletes. It is a complete, practical combat system that combines striking, clinch work, takedowns, and ground control into something you can actually use. Whether you train for fitness, for real-world confidence, or because you want to understand the full picture of fighting - this is your program.
Our morning MMA and Kickboxing / MMA evening classes cover everything from the ground up, for all levels.

Schedule
Morning Self-Defense / MMA: 9:00-10:00 AM · Mon-Fri
Evening KB / MMA: 7:00-8:00 PM · Tue / Thu (Room 2)
No single martial art works in every situation. MMA training prepares you for the full range of real-world scenarios - standing, clinched, and on the ground.
MMA training is one of the most demanding and effective conditioning programs on earth. You will not find a better full-body workout anywhere in Miami.
Our MMA classes are structured to bring beginners up to speed without throwing them in the deep end. Foundations first, always - regardless of how long you stay.
Muay Thai is the world's most complete and battle-tested striking system - punches, kicks, elbows, and knees working together in combinations that are as beautiful as they are effective. It is also, without question, one of the best full-body workouts you will ever experience.
You do not need to want to fight. You need to want to move, get strong, and learn something real.
What You Learn
Jab, cross, hook, uppercut combinations
Teep, roundhouse, and push kick technique
Elbow and knee strikes in the clinch
Pad work with instructors and partners
Defensive footwork and head movement
Bag work and conditioning drills
Schedule
Evening Muay Thai: 7:00-8:00 PM · Mon / Wed (Room 2)
Most martial arts use two or three weapons. Muay Thai uses eight. Punches, kicks, elbows, and knees - trained together into combinations that flow naturally and hit hard.
A Muay Thai class will challenge your endurance, burn through calories, and leave you feeling stronger than any gym session you have ever had. And you will come back for more.
Knowing how to strike - really strike - changes how you carry yourself. Not with aggression. With calm, grounded confidence that comes from knowing what you are capable of.
